Reporter, Levittown News:

Antonio Paris traveled from Washington D.C. to Falls Township over the weekend to be one of several speakers at the multi-day UFO Conference that took place over the weekend. Despite being a featured speaker at the event, which is filled with UFO believers, Paris is a self-described “skeptic” and said nearly all UFO sightings are not caused by extraterrestrial beings. Conference

Paris, a 42-year-old Department of Defense contractor, scientist and former military counterintelligence agent, said his goal is to restore scientific respectability to UFO investigations. He and a team of about 15 handpicked people, who Paris said are vetted and highly educated, have conducted about 400 investigations info UFO reports and have found none with concrete proof.

“Does anyone have proof beyond a reasonable doubt? No,” he said. “I believe there is life, but I don’t believe they’re jumping into clunky little crafts and coming here.”

Instead of just investigating every light people see in the night sky, Paris said his team is looking at credible reports that were made recently.

Paris said his team – Aerial Phenomena – has not yet found evidence beyond a reasonable doubt that shows aliens from other planets are visiting Earth.

The Aerial Phenomena team studies interviews with witnesses, video, photos and material evidence during the course of their investigations. Paris said his group consults pilots, FBI agents and others during their study into reports.

Paris, who recently published a book on UFO sightings, said he is currently working on an Animal Planet television series for next year.

Skeptics like Paris were rare but not unheard of at the conference. One Bucks County man, who did not want his name published, said he attended just to learn more and hear some of the theories.

Mutual UFO Network of Pennsylvania Director John Ventre organized the UFO Conference at the Sheraton Bucks County Hotel. Ventre, who drove from the western portion of the state, said about 400 people attended the convention, which covered the Roswell UFO incident, aliens in pop culture, cryptozoology and other topics.

Ventre said last year that the 2008 wave of UFO sightings and convenient access to highways lead to MUFON picking the Sheraton Hotel.

A UFO was sighted over a shopping center not far from the Sheraton Hotel in late September, according to UFOStalker.com.

Book publisher Richard Lange said the conference has grown as UFOs become more mainstream.

“You won’t see anybody with tin foil hats here,” he said.

UFO Awareness Programs: Shaping the future of Ufology

Untitled

There are no doubts that the topic of Ufology has been inundated with garbage. Most, if not all, UFO groups, meetings, and gatherings are centered on conspiracy theories, crypto-zoology, and pseudo-psychics – topics that have no purpose in a Ufology setting. Unfortunately, moreover, even Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, Chupacabra, Mothman, and inter-dimensional beings have found their way into the cult.

In hopes of re-calibrating Ufology back to a serious topic, UFO Awareness Lectures have been a core program of the Aerial Phenomenon Investigations Team. It appears, thankfully, that our UFO lecture is becoming a popular topic at many colleges and universities in the Washington, DC metro area.

For the fourth time this year, Antonio Paris has been invited to be a Guest Professor to provide college students a lecture on UFOs. On November 15th 2013, Antonio will visit astronomy students at the Anne Arundel Community College in Annapolis, MD to talk about UFOs and his vision for Reviving Ufology for the 21st Century. Topics will include misconceptions about UFOs and the search for extraterrestrial life in the universe.

Aerial Phenomena Interview with David Marler: Triangular UFOs: An Estimate of the Situation

cover

The Aerial Phenomena Investigations Team’s new podcast, API Case Files, will interview David Marler on 02 November 2013. The podcast will be available shortly after the recording.

About the Author: David Marler has had a lifelong interest in the subject of UFOs. He joined The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) in 1990 as a Field Investigator Trainee. Since then, he has served as Field Investigator, State Section Director, as well as Illinois State Director. David is currently an independent UFO researcher. During his tenure with MUFON, he had conducted numerous investigations into alleged UFO sightings and related experiences. He has discussed the subject of UFOs on numerous radio and television news programs. He has also lectured on the subject to various school and adult audiences over the years. David has assisted the History Channel, Learning Channel, and Discovery Channel on UFO documentaries in addition to independent productions. David has an extensive personal library of UFO books, journals, magazines, newspapers, and case files from around the world that covers the last 65 years. With this he has been examining the detailed history of UFO sighting reports and related patterns. David strives to have an open mind regarding the UFO phenomenon. However, he also acknowledges the need for a skeptical approach when examining each individual UFO report. Despite the large percentage of misidentifications and hoaxes in the UFO data, David recognizes what appears to be a core phenomenon beneath it all. David received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville (SIUE). He received his Certification in Hypnotherapy from Mottin and Johnson Institute of Hypnosis in St. Louis, Missouri. David is a Registered Polysomnographic Technician (RPSGT) and assisted in diagnosing and treating patients that suffered from various sleep disorders for several years at a major St. Louis-based medical facility. He has worked within the medical field for fifteen years. David works for an international medical company and resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

About his book: For years, serious researchers have known that triangular-shaped UFOs are one of the most common types observed. The phenomenon has sparked intense debate among many and excited the imagination of many others. But until now, there has never been a book-length treatment of this fascinating subject. Finally, we have one. David Marler has provided a comprehensive analysis of “the triangles.” He has collected, collated, and analyzed hundreds of reports. In the process, he has created a detailed profile of these objects and written a rich narrative of their history. The results of his years of research are documented in his book, Triangular UFOs: An Estimate of the Situation. It is a book that has long been needed, not only by the UFO research community, but the general public, as it opens up an entirely new discussion that has long been ignored: who is making the triangles?

13-105-CE3 (Skinwalker Ranch, Utah)

SWR

Update 28 Oct 13: The Aerial Phenomena Team visited Skinwalker Ranch from 17-21 Oct 2013. We are returning for phase 2 of the investigation in early 2014. Upon return of the second expedition, a report will be published.

Skinwalker Ranch, much like Area 51, has had its share of bizarre UFO lore and legend. Tales of interdimensional portals, alien abductions on the property, and yes, even bulletproof werewolves have attracted platoons of both seasoned and arm-chair UFO/Paranormal investigators to this reclusive ranch in Utah. Dubbed the “UFO ranch”, the property was once (and perhaps still is) leased by billionaire Robert Bigelow under the auspices of the National Institute for Discovery Science – a now-defunct fringe-science exploratory organization that attempted to study/obtain UFO/Paranormal evidence consistent with scientific publication.

Recent investigative research by API found that reports of alleged UFO activity continue at Skinwalker Ranch. In hopes of finding physical proof of such activity, therefore, API has planned two expeditions to the UFO Ranch (between September 2013 and March 2014). The results of the investigation, if any, will be a key topic at UFOCON14 in April 2014.

Aerial Phenomena: Reviving Ufology for the 21st Century

Antonio Paris recently published Aerial Phenomena: Reviving Ufology for the 21st Century. In his opinion, Antonio believes evidence of extraterrestrial life remains elusive as ever. The lack of physical and scientific proof, beyond a reasonable doubt, has pushed UFOs to be regarded along with Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, the chupacabra, and leprechauns: subjects nestled together in the occult section of your local bookstore or library. This unfortunate occurrence, according to Antonio, is a direct result of a once-worthy subject that was hijacked by a convergence of armchair UFO investigators, conspiracy theorists, hoaxers, and people publishing cheesy photos and videos of alleged extraterrestrials or flying saucers. In hopes of reviving Ufology, therefore, Antonio founded the Aerial Phenomenon Investigations Team to investigate UFO phenomena from a nuts and bolts perspective. His book, in its strictest sense, provides the reader insight into API’s UFO investigative process, synopses of 50 UFO investigations completed by API, an analysis of UFO phenomena, and his vision for reviving Ufology. The book, moreover, provides future investigators a guide on the tools and processes needed to conduct a proper investigation into the phenomena.

Book will be available on Amazon on August 1st, 2013.
