13-065-FB1 (Jackson, Alabama)

Date of Sighting: Not sure a few years ago

Time of Sighting: daylight

Location of UFO: Jackson, Alabama, near Huntsville Al

UFO Report: Ive sighted several UFO’s  but this particular day, I saw something in the sky glinting in the sunlight, it was silver, like when the sun would bounce off a plane…but as I continued to watch this silver object, ( and yes others saw it too as we were in a car) the object was stationary. there was no noise, no movement for about three minutes. then it seemed to know it was being watched, and zoomed in closer to us.. as if to scare us.. it was cigar shaped, had no lights as it was a bright bright day, and it zig zagged a bit and just dissipated! Huntsville has had many sightings, since maybe the Marshal Space flight center is there, and also the Space and Rocket center, I know a retired air traffic controller, and he said the Red Stone arsenal had many “sightings” and they would just file “13” of said sightings.

Evidence Submitted: None

Initial Action: Case opened as an FB1.

Investigation and Findings:  Historical case only.

Object Details: Unresolved.

Aerial Phenomena: Reviving Ufology for the 21st Century

51K5DhQzgnL._SY300_

Antonio Paris recently published Aerial Phenomena: Reviving Ufology for the 21st Century. In his opinion, Antonio believes evidence of extraterrestrial life remains elusive as ever. The lack of physical and scientific proof, beyond a reasonable doubt, has pushed UFOs to be regarded along with Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, the chupacabra, and leprechauns: subjects nestled together in the occult section of your local bookstore or library. This unfortunate occurrence, according to Antonio, is a direct result of a once-worthy subject that was hijacked by a convergence of armchair UFO investigators, conspiracy theorists, hoaxers, and people publishing cheesy photos and videos of alleged extraterrestrials or flying saucers. In hopes of reviving Ufology, therefore, Antonio founded the Aerial Phenomenon Investigations Team to investigate UFO phenomena from a nuts and bolts perspective. His book, in its strictest sense, provides the reader insight into API’s UFO investigative process, synopses of 50 UFO investigations completed by API, an analysis of UFO phenomena, and his vision for reviving Ufology. The book, moreover, provides future investigators a guide on the tools and processes needed to conduct a proper investigation into the phenomena.

Book will be available on Amazon on August 1st, 2013.

Synopsis: The witness of this investigation saw and took a photo of a strange black object in the sky. According to the witness, the object appeared like a balloon.

Evidence Submitted: Photo

Initial Action: Case opened as an AN1.

Investigation and Findings: API identified the object as a man-made “solar hot air balloon”. These mini hot air balloons are made from trash bags and heated by the sun. Once airborne, the object will float with the wind until sunset or sunlight is obscured by clouds. These objects, moreover, can travel a long distance and are often reported as “black UFOs.”

Object Details: Man-made object.
