Updates to the Investigation Page – Starlink Sightings
We’ve had quite a few sightings reported to us lately that have clearly been sightings of the SpaceX Starlink constellation. Chief of Investigations Marsha Barnhart has prepared two reports so far for these cases, and more are coming. Of course, once the redacted report is published, they will appear on the Investigations page.

Report of Investigation for Case 13-110 (Argentina)
Photographs were received via e-mail, but no chain of custody was provided. After analysis of the photos and their metadata, we concluded that they were a probable hoax.

Redacted Report of Investigation of Case 15-029
Case 15-029 was a nocturnal photographic case from Washington State. This was probably the highest quality photograph ever submitted to us. The case was closed as unidentified with Strangeness level of 2.
