Our growing photo library

We’re always adding new photos to our library. Some are IFOs (like the one below from the U.S. Department of Defense), some are genuine unknowns, and quite a few are in that grey area where we spend much of our time.

If you have any photos you would like us to look at, please contact us. If it is a real UFO photo or video you took, then please use our reporting form. In either case, we want to know as many of the specifics as possible, including the provenance of the image. If it’s a really good one, and contains no PII, we may feature it here or in one of our videos.

Come hang out with us on Facebook

We’ve started a new Facebook group, and we’d like you as a member. Just knock on the door, and we’ll let you in.

You can also hang out with us on Discord, or reddit, or follow us on Twitter – we often follow back on Twitter when the profile page is sufficiently informative.

We don’t just want you to use these platforms to keep up with what we’re doing (you can do that here better than anywhere else), but to let us know what you think, and what questions you have – about our investigations, our podcast, our video, or anything else. Really good questions or comments made in these forums will end up on the podcast.

Transcript of this Conversation

Kenny Biddle experimenting

Kenny Biddle has investigated hauntings, cryptids, and UFOs for years, and has solved many of these cases. He is persistent, patient, and creative, just like any good field investigator. We talked about some of the principles he applies to his work and he gives some examples, from ghosts to Elvis Presley. These principles apply broadly to solving any mystery. Our topics included EVP, photography, and serial experiencers.

We ask for sketches, and here is some scientific support of that practice

We encourage our witness to make sketches as soon as possible after their sightings – before they contact us, and certainly before they discuss any details with other witnesses. This is true regardless of whether there are photos or videos. Now, some new research at University of Waterloo in Canada lends some scientific support to this practice. They found that drawing is superior to other memory retention techniques. So, not only does making a sketch help us understand what witnesses saw, it helps the witnesses retain their memory better.

We hope this will be followed up by more research that will help us understand in more detail how the sketch reinforces or affects witness memories.

Questions for paranormal investigator Kenny Biddle?

Kenny Biddle

Update: the Conversation with Kenny Biddle was recorded on 13 January 2019

Veteran paranormal investigator Kenny Biddle will be on API Conversations soon, and we would like to ask him some of your questions. You can learn more about Kenny by watching some of his YouTube series. We imagine that this may be a bit controversial, since Kenny has debunked many frauds over the years, and not everyone is happy about that.

See if you can stump him, or ask him what he thinks of your favorite cryptid or ghost hunting TV show.

Please get all questions in before 26 December 2018, as we expect to record the Conversation after the Christmas holiday. You can leave your questions as comments to this post, or use the contact form. If you want us to use your name, please state this and provide any guidance we may need to pronounce your name. You can also leave your question in audio form by calling (240) 233-1253.
